We can spend all our lives following after litterers,
picking up individual pieces of garbage,
Or we can hold leaders accountable to their jobs
and solve the trashing of our homes at the root level.
Since April, I have cleaned 2000 lbs of litter
I've submitted a policy proposal to City Council for review: The Clean Boston Initiative
Key initiatives include
- 25 cent bottle deposit
- reduced cig price for a carton of 50 butts
- The Boston Summer Games

Mid May, I felt so strongly I entered the mayoral race so that Mayor Wu would have to hear my ideas at a mayoral forum. Despite telling me she "liked some of [my] ideas", she has ignored attempts to contact or collaborate. ​

On July 7, I sent the following email to the city's Environment Dept., requesting help.
- July 23, still no response

July 21, I sent this email to 40+ city leaders & depts., asking for basic assistance at the event
- Still no coordinated or meaningful response
